Inventory tracking can be difficult, especially if you are operating out of a primary warehouse that ships things to various locations and then those locations actually sell the inventory. This Accounting tool is a great way to keep track of up to 500 SKUs for up to 500 different jobs sites, including the total value of each SKU in inventory and the average cost per unit.

This tracker uses a data entry macro system that lets the user enter each transaction and push it to the database tab. The database tab can then be queried and formulas are used to report the amount of units at each location as well as the movements that happen in each location per month. There are also individual reporting features that let the user define a given SKU and see all movements for that particular item and the stock level per location. Note, if you want to automate more of the input card for what kind of data is entered, you can set up vlookups based on other data about each SKU, for example the cost per unit.
